Some 80 members attended the 27th AGM of The Association at at Thorpeness Country Club on Saturday, 7th April.
The Minutes of the previous AGM and the Report and Accounts for the year to 31st December 2017 were approved. Chairman Alison Andrews then gave a resume of the year to date which was followed by a report on the shingle movements at Slaughden from David Kemp of the Environment Agency. Members then exchanged ideas on how membership might be increased with greater involvement of people of all ages and the meeting was rounded off with watching the full 20 minute film of the estuary published by the AOEP
