Whilst a difficult but necessary decision for the organising committee to take, it was felt a gathering of up to 150 entrants plus a further 50 volunteers would be\u00a0best delayed until requirements for social distancing, masks, etc have been lifted. The Aldeburgh Yacht Club was included in this decision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Over the coming days the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aoetrust.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alde and Ore Estuary Trust<\/a> will be contacting all those involved, including entrants, sponsors and volunteers, and looking to establish a 2022 flotilla date which will be communicated ASAP.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Following the recent government announcement that the final stage of easing the lockdown restrictions in England is to be delayed until 19th July, a decision has been made to postpone the flotilla until next year.
